Morning Prayer: The Lord is in His Holy Temple

The Lord is in His holy temple: let all the earth keep silent before Him.
– Hab. 2:20

Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be always acceptable in your sight, O Lord, my strength and my redeemer.
– Psalm 19:14

The hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeks such to worship Him.
– John 4:23

Almighty and most most merciful Father; we have erred and strayed from your ways like lost sheep. We have followed too much the devices and desires of our own hearts. We have offended against your holy laws. We have left undone those things which we ought to have done, and we have done those things which we ought not to have done; and there is no health in us. O Lord, have mercy upon us, miserable offenders. Spare those who are penitent, according to your promises declared to mankind in Jesus Christ our Lord. Merciful Father, grant – for His sake – that we may hereafter life a godly, righteous and sober life, to the glory of your Holy Name. Amen.
